Narratively is collaborating with The Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars to produce the next edition of Wilson Quarterly, a global journal of ideas, cultural and news. Wilson Quarterly looks at how policy and politics affect people and the world. We are currently seeking pitches for the upcoming theme:

Borderlands: Stories that spotlight the people and politics of interesting, overlooked border regions. We're not looking for stories about the U.S-Mexico border, but instead pieces about places most media outlets aren't paying much attention to.

Please review the Wilson Quarterly website for examples of the types of stories they run before submitting your pitch. We will be paying competitive rates but expenses are minimal, so please pitch stories about places you can travel to easily.

The deadline for these pitches is Monday, September 9. Drafts of assigned stories will be due in mid- to late October.
